Yes — the per-product variation editor is free. Expand any variable product in the Bulk Editor grid and you can edit price, SKU, stock, weight, dimensions, and images for all its variations inline. The cross-catalog Variations Tab (filter by attribute across all products) requires Pro.
The per-product editor is for working on one specific product's variations. The Variations Tab is for variation-scoped tasks across your whole catalog — e.g., "I need to update the price of every Blue variation I sell" without caring which parent product it belongs to. If you're thinking about a product, use the per-product editor. If you're thinking about an attribute value or a stock state across multiple products, use the Variations Tab.
You restore a snapshot. Before every bulk write, Bossy captures the before-state to a dedicated database table with a timestamp. Pull up the snapshot list, click the relevant entry, click Restore. No developer. No database access. No fixing rows while your store is live.
